A white marble floor comprised of flagstones of Carrara marble sits on the ground. A miniature replica of Mount Everest emerges from one of the slabs as if appearing above the clouds. The mountains surrounding Carrara are famous for white marble from which Michelangelo carved his David. The marble once formed ocean floors and rose up over millennia to become the mountains surrounding the small town.

Everest Floor was carved in the wonderful Laboratori Artistici Nicoli, Carrara.
